Well, perhaps not the only one, but certainly one of the most beautiful alpine plateaus would have to be the Seefeld High Plateau, for sure. There can be no doubt that nature was having a good day when she carved out the Mieming and Wetterstein mountain ranges, nestling the picturesque Gaistal Valley perfectly between, carefully creating the Seefeld paradise of Wildmoos and planting the rugged Karwendel mountain range with a thump just to the right – all before carelessly showering the region with stone pine and mountain pine ranges, as well as lakes, chamoises and Alpine flora.
